OSCAR is the only UK radio station to be run fully by pupils. The board of directors is headed by two Managing Directors and advised by the chairman Mr. Pettitt (master in charge of OSCAR). Each director is responsible for their area of OSCAR and holds significant legal responsabilities, they are assisted by deputies from the year below. Each board runs two broadcasts; one in the summer and one in the winter.
